As October is coming to a close Key Clubbers are working hard to get ready for the upcoming Fall Rally South. Members across D35E came to Walnut to learn the cheers and promote spirit gear to win the glorious Spirit Stick. During our DCM, the Lieutenant Governor Andy Wong awarded our Member Of the Month [TBA] and The Club of the Month Bonita High School. After the division collected pop tabs from Bonita and Diamond Bar both with very large amounts. As soon as the DCM ended the division started bonding activities separating them to groups members had to work with new people to come up with song lyrics with a specific word, get untangled, and just goof around with. This year seems like a good year for Division 35 East and they are confident to win that spirit stick.
It was time for the first regional event of the year the annual Regional Training Conference. This event held Key Clubber from the proud Region 13 Lion fish and consisted of the divisons D15N, D10N D10S D35E and D35W. The conference was a great way to learn all about key club and especially to teach the new members how big our Ohana is. The LTGs and thier Division staff worked very hard to educate the members, When the RTC was coming to a close the final spirit session was going to unfold. All divisions worked hard but the one who came out on top was our own D35E Elephants. We are so proud to bring home the spirit stick. Good Job Everybody!
If you haven’t notice in front of the Hideout we are accepting new members this week and through next week. So go sign up and pay $6 if you have a ASB card or $8 Dollars without ASB. Hope to see you there.
Run or Dye is a 3k Run where volunteers would get to throw non toxic dye at runners. This event was a very fun event for kids and adults. Majority of the Key Clubbers were at the Blue section which was at the end of trail. Our Key Clubbers threw so much blue dye that we never wanted to see it again. After all the dye ran out many of us were exhausted and tired but it was still one of the most memorable events of summer.
